Lars Ebbesen
Lars is an experienced globetrotter who has crossed Greenland multiple times and climbed renowned peaks like Aconcagua, Kilimanjaro, and Mt. Kenya. He is also known for his Unarmed expedition to the South Pole with Cato Zahl Pedersen and Odd Harald Hauge.
Lars co-founded Hvitserk in 1997 and now works with Børge Ousland at Ousland AS, as well as a graphic designer, advisor, and mentor. He is an expert on expeditions, with vast experience and a guiding hand in many well-known ventures. Lars manages the logistics for our expedition, brings countless great ideas, and is an invaluable part of the team.
Martin Nesse
Martin (33) is an experienced outdoor enthusiast who has completed several long expeditions on foot, skis, and motorcycle. His longest expedition to date was the Norway traverse, from Nordkapp to Lindesnes, following the mountain range ‘Nordryggen’ over the course of 100 days.

Martin holds an extensive academic background, including a master's degree in Economics (NHH, 2017) and a master’s degree in Applied Technology and Data Science (NMBU, 2024). In his previous thesis, he outperformed Norges Bank’s inflation forecasts using artificial intelligence.

As part of his preparation for the Silent White expedition, Martin will cross Greenland in May 2025 to test live-streaming, equipment, and mental and physical endurance. He is also a soon to be certified glacier guide.
